I must confess that I am still a stranger in this pampered city; since I am barely two months old in this city of chaos and confusion. But all the same, these two few months have been quite challenging and eye-opening in my sojourn as a journalist...

Frankly speaking, I don’t have a problem with the proposed plans by the Central  Bank of Nigeria to honour some of our past  women leaders, who stood out like Amazons and fought  gallantly  to redeemed the image of women in the country and contributed immeasurably to the freedom and democracy we are all enjoying today...

First to set the record straight, I am not a member of President Ebele Azikiwe Goodluck Jonathan’s economic, social or political ideas or polices, neither do I agree to most of his administration’s plans for the country...

When the news first hit town a few months back that the Federal Government under the leadership of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has a plan to  soon roll out an indigenous special  bread for the mass population of hungry Nigerians, the first thought that raced through my curious mind was that of bewilderment...

Perhaps no other citizens of an oil rich nation have been subjected to suffering and dying like Nigerians. Every year, it is the same story and scenery of hike in pump price, long queues at our filling stations, unrealistic and ineffective oil industry bill, including over propagated oil reform policy...

To be honest, I was never a fan of Chief Obasanjo in and out of office, but I might again change my posture if what is currently brewing at the lower house is found to be true at the end of the day...

This week, my ever curious eyes took a peep into the various arms of government in my dear country Nigeria.  And my eyes specifically picked up one of the most dangerous blight silently eating away our social, economic and political fabric. This is no other than sycophancy...

There has been various suggestions by different thoughtful minds on the need to eradicate a few living human species among us, particularly here in Nigeria where a few group of men and women among us have over the decades turned us into modern day slaves in our own country...
