Justice for Sale?

A common issue concerning the distribution of the things we all aspire to in our country has been a denominator dominated by unevenness. There has never been any kind of justice in this Nigeria. In times past, some of the things that we should all aspire to were either in the hands of one strong man and his linguistic or regional divide...

Salute to our World Cup 2014 Footballers

There is a certain group of our Naija countrymen who automatically switch on to hibernation mode whenever our national football team plays. Most of them insist that they have very weak hearts that cannot withstand the rigour and tension that soaks anyone foolish enough to invest interest in a team as unpredictable as Nigeria’s senior football team...

Very well educated Muslims who got their education from the civilized world support an antiquated and cultural system that undermines the education of children, preferring to keep these children in perpetual ignorance as servants and yokels...

Mr. President Negotiate with Boko Haram

Why did the Americans agree to this unusual swap of prisoners, even in the face of their very harsh criticism of the way we have handled the kidnapping of 230 girls in Chibok by the Boko Haram?

Boko Haram Is Revenge Politics – Like It or Not

If you were to review the activities of the Boko Haram, and in spite of the fact that these killers have no clear cut demands apart from  demanding a suspension of the Nigerian constitution, a surrender and transfer of the instruments of power from Mr. President to them, and the closure of schools, two things stand them out as well...
