Bode Eluyera

Coming to Russia to study is a big experience and exposure for me. I had the very rare opportunity - elusive to millions of Nigerians - to see and study both the West and the East, witnessed the whole transformation and historical events that took place in the former Soviet Union, their impact, and how they relate to Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Far away from Nigeria - free of all the hustling and bustling, I  had the opportunity to research and reflect on why Nigeria has turned into a failed state and the biggest banana republic in the world within the past 50 years, despite its enormous human and mineral resources.  Nigeria's problem is much more than bad leadership - as most of us wrongly think. The main stumbling block to its development are the North and the Military. They are like gangrene that must be got rid of immediately without any remorse! In other words, I am more than convinced that in order to save Nigeria and the entire black race from destruction and doom, it must be divided!  It's too late for any federalism or restructuring, and it won't even work! So, there is no point even wasting our precious time and lives on it.  My conclusion is that the North and the South are completely 2 strange and incompatible bed fellows - with conflicting interests - forced to live together by the British for its own selfish economic and political interest. The earlier we understand this bitter truth and act, the better for us all. Time is already running out! From Russia with love. abm1900@mail.ru
