The Cogency of Military Intelligence

I have repeatedly written on this subject. It was the theme of my BOSAS INTERNATIONAL BUREAU lecture in Qingdao School of International Law in 2007. It forms copious chapters in my book,” Commentaries on International and Diplomacy”, which I presented to our three top government leaders but received no thanks nor acknowledgement.

The concept of intelligence is undeniably a very important subject for social humans. Military intelligence is crucial to state security and statecraft. It involves the meticulous gathering of relevant information, analysing them to see where they lead to for military operations to commence.
Military intelligence has political/strategic/military components, which are associated with governance and statecraft.

To lead a state without a mastery of military intelligence is to do so half-blind and half-deaf.

A sovereign, independent state must train. sustain and nurture intelligent men and women to serve in its security and intelligence.

These must be a special cadre. The gadgets they need are sophisticated. The military personnel must be patriotic and dedicated. These are people, whose work is shrouded in secrecy. They watch intensely, are not talkative. They seek no acknowledgement, praise and publicity, like our vain politicians. Military intelligence officers should be endowed wit subtle intellect. They are the anchor of state security, not only during crisis, but are innovative, creative and intellectual.

There are many military intelligence formations in many states.
Some engage in covert operations, code-breaking, surveillance, Military intelligence operates both general and specific intelligence

Classic military intelligence deals with wire-tapping,,espionage, disinformation, psychological warfare, reconnaissance, aerial surveys, keeping war dairies,, micro-films, sabotage, records of its operations, deciphering messages, sending radio signals, cryptography. etc

Defence intelligence in Israel, USA, Russia, England, France, China are manned by highly trained personnel. A lot of money goes into research and development. The manufacture of armaments are a priority in a world, were war has become the instrument of national policy and insurgency has taken on serious dimensions globally, as a result of failure of good governance, dismal neglect of the marginalized, feral class, wanton corruption, incompetence, political elite struggles for office without a well-oiled social system, indifference to the peoples pleadings for a decent living, insensitivity to rational advise, With poorly hand-picked ministers and advisers, who claim excellence, but excellence is never granted to man, but it is reward for labour, which our country remains mediocre.

People in government, who think that they are doing everything right. should apply to be canonized, preparatory for sainthood.

In statecraft, trying is not enough. Gullibility removes the thinkers cap, especially when preparations for leadership are meager, not related to statecraft, which leaves governance in the realm of conjecture.
Matters are then left to,” NDI OMENUKO”, NDI AKWA NA EBERE EGO, NDI OGBU MMA,NDI ACHIBOKO, NDI NGARI. They should know that OMEGBE OJI KA ONYOSI MMA.

We failed to organise the most important aspect of statecraft, forcing on our proud people the status of the regime of co-sovereignty, consular jurisdiction and the regime of capitulation.
AZATA/NEPU Party of thinking men and women is confident that we shall overcome someday.

Nigerian Men and their Foreign Wives

Culturally, Nigerian men are overbearing, controlling, and paternalistic.  They relate to their fathers and mothers differently. They believe it is “a man’s world” and so they have the tendency to relegate women to subservient roles. I am stunned by the transformation Nigerian men, married to non-Nigerian women, have gone through in the United States...

Lost in a Sea of Hair Weaves

One can understand some black women wearing wigs for the same reasons that some white women do; because they are losing or have lost their hair. One can even make allowances for wigs being worn for the occasional change of look. But how to explain young women with full heads of hair who will never be seen dead with their natural hair?
